If I look back at where my King of Europe story really began, I think that attending Valencia last year had a huge part to play (check my Wangan Warriors article!) I had intended to visit the Anglesey Circuit in Wales last year for the British Drift Championship Final, but I instead found myself opting to see something different by attending Valencia Circuit for the first time. This ended up being an extremely wise choice, as it seemingly built the bridges which have given me such an amazing year to date.
Coming back this year, I knew that we’d be in for a treat. Valencia is undoubtedly one of the fastest tracks in the calendar, and with the huge circuit being mostly used for MotoGP, it doesn’t take long to figure out why!
With KOE opting to host two rounds of the competition on the same weekend (Round 6 on Saturday, Round 7 on Sunday) it would be an event that would push the cars, drivers and officials to the limit. The hard work paid off and once again King of Europe were able to place another extremely successful event on the calendar.
With just one round to go in the season, it’s time to head to Slovakia Ring next to experience what one of the most talked-about events has to offer!
