King of Europe – Round 3 – Greinbach

Just one week after the crazy chaos that took place on the streets of Karpacz during the mountain touge event, it was time to head back to a circuit. This would be my first time visiting the Greinbach circuit in Austria, but it certainly wasn’t the first time for King of Europe.

With Rene Alexander unleashing his brand new Toyota GT86 2JZ build, it was a good opportunity to get a feature of the car and also a couple of the other drivers who had been doing well in the competition so far.

Being one of the most used tracks on the KOE calendar, it was quickly apparent why they love this place so much.

Despite being smaller than most, it offers a very technical layout with a huge high speed corner, which is then followed by several much slower, tighter turns which are tricky to navigate. This variety between the two sides of the track gives you the best of both worlds, and the slower, more technical part of the track allowed for some of the closest battles that the series has witnessed so far.
